Grand Café

Grand Café
One of the most popular restaurants in Shanghai, with magnificent views of the city, the Grand Café at Grand Hyatt Shanghai features a contemporary Art Deco bistro atmosphere and serves fresh, authentic food around the clock.

At the heart of Grand Café is its open kitchen, with a granite bar featuring garden-fresh salads, a bakery oven, grill and sauté stations, and a built-in ice pan for seafood - all framed with glass shelving, emulating a kitchen pantry. Restaurant guests at Grand Café can watch chefs work their magic behind the counter, delivering a truly unique dining experience. A beautiful two-tier granite oval island bar in the centre of the kitchen displays a selection of fresh bakery items in the morning, and sumptuous desserts during lunch, high tea and dinner.

Occupying Level 55 of Shanghai’s Jin Mao Tower, Canton restaurant at Grand Hyatt Shanghai offers 360-degree views of the city and traditional Cantonese cuisine prepared by our master chef, a Hong Kong native, in a contemporary setting.

Canton boasts three distinct dining areas. The main dining area is contemporary and elegant in style and decor, featuring two gold leaf glass dividers etched with Chinese.  The flooring is designed in a traditional Chinese pattern, cleverly combining granite, wood and brass.

Cosy balcony seating at this dramatic Pudong restaurant overlooks the double height lobby, and presents stunning views of Shanghai and beyond. The perfect venue for entertainment, Canton has six elegant private rooms, all with striking views and of varying sizes, the largest seating up to 34 people. Canton’s distinct tabletop decoration further enhances the dining experience.  Oval hammered silver bowls and unique crackled chinaware is accompanied by an elegant silverware stand, holding cherry wood silver-tipped chopsticks and silver spoons; silver tea glasses pair with black porcelain teapots encased in hammered silver containers.

Club Jin Mao, located on Level 86 of Jin Mao Tower at Grand Hyatt Shanghai, is the city’s most prestigious Shanghainese restaurant, offering exquisite and authentic cuisine.

Warm and sophisticated, Club Jin Mao restaurant overlooks the striking Shanghai skyline.  Here, the theme of traditional Chinese elements and patterns are presented through the filter of contemporary design, creating an interesting interplay between old and new.  Club Jin Mao has six private rooms, with the largest seating 40 guests.  Each of the private rooms in this splendid Pudong restaurant is named after a Chinese figure and is accompanied by miniature tower decorations.
